Last Sunday, I went to Agra to see the Taj Mahal with my friends. The Taj stands on the bank of Jamuna.It was build by Shahjahan in the sweet memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. It is made of pure white marble. The building has a dome in its centre and four minarets in four corners.
The Emperor and the Empress lie buried side-by-side. Twenty thousand workmen worked for twenty years to build it.
In a moon light night we stayed there for about three hours. Then we came back. The sweet memory of the Taj is still fresh in my mind.
