There is a well in the heart of our village. It presents a lively scene the whole day. Long before the dawn, people start coming to the well. Some come to draw water; some come to wash clothes and some to bath.
We can see a number of young girls coming to the well. They carry pitchers on their heads. They place them near the well and wait for their turn.
The well is a meeting place too. People come there and discuss the topics of the day. In short, the well is a place of full life and activity.
