Last Sunday, I witnessed a Kabaddi match. It was played between the Jat High School team and our school team. It was held in our school ground. A large number of students and outsiders came to see it.
The captains of both the team came out for toss. Our team won the toss.
The match started on exact 3.30 p.m. Our team captain crossed the middle line, calling out Kabaddi ! Kabaddi ! He touched one of the opponents and came back without being caught by him. So our team scored one point.
Now it was the turn of the Jat School team. One of their players came across to our side. He was caught firmly by one of our players. Thus our score rose to two.
After the interval, the game re-started. Luck again favoured us. Our points went on increasing steadily. We were 20 points ahead of the Jat School team. The time was over. The refree blew the whistle. We won the match.
