Last Sunday, I had to go to Karolbagh to attend a tea - party. I reached the bus stop at 2 p.m. There was a great rush at the bus stop. All the people, old and young, rich and poor were waiting anxiously for their buses. No sooner did a bus sighted than there was a great stir among the passengers. At last my route bus came. The queue began to move ahead. But soon it broke up there was great rush at the gate. The people pushed and jostled one - another. I got in with a great difficulty. The conductor pulled the string and the bus started.
The bus was fully packed. The conductor sat near the gate issuing tickets. Some of the passengers could not get seats. They had to stand all the way. A man's pocket - was picked. The poor fellow lost fifty rupees.
The bus was delayed by ten minutes. At last reached at my destination. I got - down and made straight for my friend's house. Thank God. I was in time.
