Last Sunday, a football match was played between Khalsa High School team and our team. Our school ground was the scene of the match. Many students and outsiders came to witness the match.
Mr. RL. Sani was the referee. He blew the whistle at 3.40 p.m. Both the teams entered the ground. The players were dressed in their uniforms. Our team won the toss. The players were arranged by the captains. The match started at 4 p.m.
From the very start, the game was very interesting. The Central Forward of our team passed the football to the captain. The captain rolled it on cleverly and kicked it to the Right-in. The Right-in gave a hard kick and scored a goal. The playground resounded with cheers.
There was interval for ten minutes. The game re-started. The players of the Khalsa School team tried their best to equalise with us. But they did not succeed. The time was over. We won the match. Our team ran out shouting with joy.
