A hungry fox went out in search of food. It tried its best to find something to eat, but in vain. It felt very sad.
At last, it came to agarden. There a crow was sitting on the branch of a tree. It had a piece of meat in its beak. The fox was very clever. It said, You are a very beautiful bird. Your voice must be very sweet. Please sing a song for me.
The crow was very pleased. It began to caw. The piece of meat fell down on the ground. The fox picked it up and ate it at once.
Moral : Don't listen to flattery.
