There has been an alarming rise in the incidents of chain - snatching and pickpocketing in our area during the past few days. There is hardly any day when one such incident doesn't take place. The press, too, has reported about it. But sadly, no suitable steps have been taken to nab the cluprits. It is requested that some effective steps should be taken so that the residents can move about without any sense of fear.
