A street hawker is a common figure in India. He can be seen near schools, cinema-halls and public parks. He goes from street-to-street selling his things.
Some hawkers sell sweets, others sell vegetables, fruits, ice-cream or some other eatbles. A street hawker attracts the children in various ways. Some hawkers ring a bell; some attract in a sing-song manner; other cry their wares at the top of their voice.
A street hawker is not neat. His clothes are dirty. He knows no holiday.
