My dear father,
You will be glad to know that I have passed the 7th class examination. I have scored 1st position and the highest marks in my class. I have been honoured by my school. My principal has given me half fee concession. My photograph has appeared in the newspaper. Now I am in the 8th class. I am to pay the remaining school - fees. I need money badly. So I request you to send me an amount of Rs. 1000 as early as possible.
I intend to repeat the performance this year also.
