Last Sunday, we, a few friends, went to the Jamuna to enjoy swimming. Reaching there, we put off our clothes and jumped into the river. There was one boss Rama with us. He was not a good swimmer. He also entered the river. At first he was near the bank. But after sometime he went into deep water. We advised him to come back. He paid no head to us. Soon he began to duckle in the water. None of us dared to go near him. We cried for help.
A passer by heard our cries. He knew how to swim. He at once put off his clothes and jumped into the river. He swam very fast towards the place where Rama was duckling. After a few seconds he reached Rama. He caught him by the arm and carried him to the bank.
Rama was unconscious. Water had gone into his belly. He was laid with his face downwards. Water come out of his mouth and nose. Soon he came to his senses. We thanked the man and returned home.
