Storing information is remembering, and remembering is closely linked to learning. Psychologists have tried to explain how people remember and why they forget many of the things they learn. No one has yet found all the answers. It is believed, according to one theory, that when a person learns something, a physical change of some kind takes place. A trace of memory or pattern is left in the brain. And it is believed that memories, or traces of memory in the brain, simply fade away in the course of time. The way you feel about a particular experience may also determine whether you remember or forget it. In general, people are apt to forget things that are unpleasant or upsetting and remember things that are pleasant. Brain can learn different tasks. Better - developed brains can learn more complicated tasks. In the simplest brains, learning is very crude. Humans show the greatest learning abilities.
