A Visit to a Place of Worship
There is a big temple in our town. I visited it last Sunday. The temple looked very impressive. The idols of gods and goddesses were tastefully decorated. I saw a priest sitting in front of Lord Krishna's idols. The worshippers were singing hymns and religious songs. They were giving their offerings to the priest. In turn, the priest gave them his blessings. He put a holy mark on their foreheads. He gave them garlands of flowers also. I, too, went to the priest and touched his feet. He blessed me and gave me some chanamrit and prasad. I bowed to the idols in deep respect and come back home.
