The cow is a pet animal. It is found in all parts of India. Everybody loves it.
The cow has four legs, two horns, two ears, a long tail and four teats. Some cows are white, some are brown and some black.
The cow eats grass, gram and straws.
It gives us milk. We make curd, butter and ghee and sweets from its milk. Its milk is very good for health. Its dung is also very useful.
The cow is very gentle animal. It does not harm anybody. The Hindus call her Mother Cow.
